Nicole is in her mid twenties when she sees her first Tango show in Munich. She is taken with the sensual and sultry dance. Her dream is to one day travel to Buenos Aires and learn the powerful step sequences. A few years later, after a painful separation, her dream comes true: She scrapes together the money for a plane ticket and enrolls into a Tango class in the Argentine capital.

Already on her first evening she discovers her talent for dancing. When she gets the chance to go on tour with her own show, the young German woman doesn’t hesitate.

Enchanted by the exotic South American metropolis and by the vision of an unfettered life as an artist, she gives up her home, her family, and her safe job to start a new life. In spite of harsh physical and financial strains, she manages to dance her way to the top of Argentina’s tango stars. When Nicole is finally reunited with the man whom she had admired on stage in Munich many years earlier, she cannot resist his passion.
